Scavenger Hunt

If you see a box like this while on your travels today then we insist you rush over to check it's contents. For if it holds a pair of Converse then you may claim them. If you then post a picture of yourself with them on the Converse Facebook page then you'll be in with a chance of going to the 100 Club in London. If you find an empty box fear not, simply tweet #converseboots & you'll be entered into a prize draw to win a pair. That's a lot of social networking in one competition.

The latest in a long line of collaborations with Converse sees the high priests of trainers team up with designer Marimekko (who we're inclined to describe as a graphic Scandinavian Orla Keily)

Colouring In Converse

Fans of Converse rejoice! We have long been fans of Converse & it's many guises. We own the American print ones, the Missoni collaboration & a good old black pair for when we're feeling 'minimal' but we've always harboured a desire to design our own which is why we wooped when we read about the new customization service in the Offspring department of Selfridges. Choose from a huge selection of designs & with minutes an original pair of pumps will be yours.
We wonder if we can have Katie Waissel's face on ours? We can only hope.

Super Sneakers

Converse & Missoni have collaborated once more for this pair of sneakers which at £220 is slightly pricier than your average foot receptacles but a lot cheaper than trying to purchase one of Missoni's amazing zig-zaggy colour explosion jumpers. Believe us. We've tried.

One More Shoe Blog, Then We'll Shut Up

This is a Poorman Weapon from Converse, so called because back int' day they made a canvas version of the leather ones that all the sports players wore so that the kids (who we imagine lived in some 'colourful' neighbourhood in Brooklyn circa 1977) could afford 'em. We also like that it's called a weapon & we envisage back in 70s Brooklyn you would need a weapon wherever you walked.
(not like to today where it's all organic deli's & yoga centres)
It has been re-issued to celebrate Size? 10th birthday where it is stocked exclusively.
Priced at £49.99
