Denim Cleans Up!

Launched today, Levis whirlpool sculpture (above in the London flagship store) highlights the brands plight to save water, with a pioneering new way to produce denim.
The average pair of jeans uses 42 litres of water in the finishing proccess
& some of the new styles save up to 96% of that. Which is good news for the environment.
Also we went to the launch of the event where you could get your photo taken with a hunk in a bath. We daren't put our up as we were looking rough so we nabbed this pic of a lovely lady posing merrily. She looks like the cat that got the cream that one.

Skinny Fits From Levi's
The lovely Sophie who does the press for Levi's (& refused to be photographed, which is a crime frankly, she's such a babe) invited us down to the flagship store on Regent Street to check out the new 519 skinny fit jeans. They are currently being worn by Gaslight Anthem on their tour. We'd be more impressed if they got Britney in a pair though let's be honest.

And here they are! Slimming.

Boots. & More Boots
Levi's don't just do denim, oh no! They do shoes too. This season, we hasten to add, they have expanded their range & delivered us a gorgeous selection of boots for their Red Tab collection in tough leathers with detailed finishes which will be available this month at Asos.com and selected Kurt Geiger's as well as Levi's flagship store on London's Regent Street.Love the red lining as well. Very Louboutinesque (If this wasn't a word before it is now)

Has skinny had it's day?
Levi's are re-releasing a limited edition of it's 201 jean (love a singular) The style was first launched in 1890's and was the best selling style until World War II (we assume everyone adopted the military trend at this point) We are enjoying the baggier fit and it echos a move towards roomier trousers which we encourage, though we do love a megging. More on this later.
