MFW AW 2011: Vivienne Westwood

Dark lipstick & smoking cigars! Wavy hair, Oxford bag trousers, rockabilly touches, tweeds, greys with hints of burgundy & raspberry.

MFW AW 2011: Frankie Morello

You've seen the crazy dancers now here's the clothing. Ethnic style knits mixed with traditional suiting in warm greys. Clashing of prints. Layering of colours. Part cherokee, part navajo. Shearling mixed in with oversized snoods. We love.

MFW AW 2011: Bottega Veneta

Hopefully by now we can establish that the duffel coat will be the new 'it coat'.
Similar colours at Bottega to Burberry Prorsum.
Luxe leathers & knits in greys & black interspersed with pops of primary brights.

MFW AW 2011: Zegna & Frankie Morello Video

Skip to 2:54 for Frankie Morello; ballet dancing, box pushing, men in pants.
Drama!

MFW AW 2011: Roberto Cavailli

The 70s influences that have gripped Womenswear this season appears to have influenced Cavalli's collection too. Muted tones in rust & sage. Flared trousers. Furs. Neckties. Cherokee influences & we even saw a few ponchos in there! Love a poncho.

MFW AW 2011: Jil Sander

Raf Simons continued to delve into the Pantone folder with yesterdays collection. We adored the excess of orange & coral mixed with refined black tailoring. Layered polonecks with contrasting knitwear. Simple suiting reinvigorated in zesty shades of tangerine & lime. On a seperate note, whoever can get their hands on the luxe damson tee on the right
would have our hearts forever.
