Topman Collaborates on Coats

I think we can safely say, post freak heatwave, that autumn is finally upon us. With that in mind, the Topman 'Classics Project' is now into it's seventh season, inviting designers to come up with new solutions to classic pieces. The newest collaboration focuses on the classic peacoat and the six designers on board are: Todd Lynn, Timo Weiland, Tim Hamilton, Alister
Mackie, James Small and Topman Design.

The jackets are on sale now priced between £130 & £180.

Last Nights Launches: Topman Fragrance

The high ceilings, the sash windows, the views of Big Ben, it could have been a scene from a period movie. Only this room was filled with fashionistas eager to sniff out Topman's first fragrance priced at a not unreasonable £15, which goes on sale this month.
Canapewise it was a carnivorous affair; we ate a lot of fois gras & pork belly.

Breakfast With Topman

This morning we went to the very lovely Rorganic in Marylebone for a press breakfast with Topman who are releasing their first ever fragrance and very nice it is too! We ate bacon rolls, scones, a lovely fruit salad & Chris put a foccacia in his bag for later.
The fragrances come on sale exclusively on the 22nd September at the Oxford Street store & Selfridges before going on sale nationwide the week after. It's also going into Boots & there's body wash which is actually a lot to take in on a Thursday morning.
They smell very good too which is quite important.

Return Of The Mac

With it showering a tad outside, Frank donned this forthcoming Topman AW11/12 caped mac to protect him en route to the Co-op for a quick bite to eat (no dining out today - tomorrow's Manchester trip to prepare for!). Old St didn't know what had hit 'em!

Top Shorts Man

For keen readers of the magazine, you may already be aware of the collaboration between a number of revered designers & Topman. Jonathan Saunders, Todd Selby, Cassette Playa, Topman Design, Gary Card & Bernhard Willhelm (not pictured) have each designed their own pair of shorts as part of the collaboration which is currently on the shelves in Topman Oxford Circus & online. We like the itsy bitsy Bernhard Willhelm trunks best.
Perfect for a bit of poolside posing.

Topman Stylist Lounge Re-opens

Last night we attended a pre-Apprentice launch of the new swanky Topman Stylist lounge in Topshop's flagship store in Oxford Street. Between quaffing champagne & nibbling on tiny little lamb pies we chatted to the new team headed by the very dapper Giles Farnham. The new lounge features multiple changing rooms, a free bar (!) & mood boards which the newly appointed personal shoppers can create for you ready for your arrival. Very swish indeed.

New Power Studio, Felipe Rojas Llanos & Martine Rose.
