I LEFT MY HEART IN RIO

Art Attack

We really like this collaboration between Lazy Oaf and Tate.
It reminds us of our school days (without the bullying) (N.B we were the bullies)

Has skinny had it's day?

Levi's are re-releasing a limited edition of it's 201 jean (love a singular) The style was first launched in 1890's and was the best selling style until World War II (we assume everyone adopted the military trend at this point) We are enjoying the baggier fit and it echos a move towards roomier trousers which we encourage, though we do love a megging. More on this later.

New Face : Joe Flemming

He is from Premier models. Swoon.

This bag is so cute

& £28 from Topman. Love a bit of paisley us.

Because no blog is complete without a Gaga post...

Here she is dressed as a man for Vogue Hommes Japan under the alias of Jo Calderone.
Styled by Nicola Formichetti. We would.

Because you can't have too many pairs of sunglasses

It's a travesty that a picture of these Versace sunglasses didn't make it into the magazine.
They're so bright you'd need a pair of sunglasses to wear them! Brilliant

New Face : Petter Hedman

This is Petter and he is from M&P models and we like him

You can keep your Beiber fever

Tattoo a trend?

It may not be the most accessible trend that we saw at fashion week. You can't pick one up in Harvey Nics, but this season saw tattoos adorning models from Lanvin to Louis Vuitton, Paul Smith and Bernhard Willhelm. Yves Saint Laurent marked this trend with a documentary film by
the photographer and filmmaker Ari Marcopoulos who followed the tattoo artist Mark Mahoney for his latest documentary, “No Way Back,” to commemorate the launch of the YSL men’s collection in Paris. Remember though, a tattoo is for life, not just for spring/summer 2011.

Dear Sun, thanks for stopping by. Don't be a stranger!

Romain Retrospective

The lovely totem boys invited us to a private viewing in Paris of an exhibition of images taken of Romain Kremer's work from past and new collections, taken by famed french photography studio Harcourt. Also included was a Harcourt shot portrait of the designer himself, looking like a movie star (top).

Lanvin ss11

After YSL appointment.... end of day 3

Yves Saint Laurent presentation

Today we swooned at Yves Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2011 collection, compromised of a classic selection of suits, sportswear and leather accessories as well as the more adventurous catwalk pieces. We loved the printed shorts, tribal style jackets, silver necklaces and faux collars. Also there was a jock strap come cummerbund, anyone that saw it in the show may have been mistaken but we know better!

BAPTISTE HEARTS ATTITUDE

Lagerfeld's muse caught after the show, with our favourite model booker-extraordinaire, Christophe from Premier. See how this boy's look has changed, clearly groomed by Karl and adorned in his trademark silver jewellery and slick suiting.

Dior Homme Spring Summer 2011

Publish PostTodays Dior Homme had all the drama you would expect from the fashion house. Held in a disused railway depot. The worlds press were seated in a large circle around a white column of spiralled fabric. Models wore drop-crotch trousers in peg shapes, asymmetric hems, sleeveless jackets and mandarin collars in a palette of black and slate with a dash of oatmeal. We especially loved the fluid shapes of the jackets with caped backs and gladiator style boots ("is that a sock or a suede inner?")

Spotted at Dior Homme

Karl Lagerfeld generating a lot of attention at the Dior Homme show this afternoon, attracting a circus of paparazzi including our very own Casio Exilim EX-Z2000 with 5 times optical zoom (today we found the watercolour function, not used here)

Glad to be gay

Gladiator sandals has been THE footwear to be seen in this summer. Seen on fashionistas at all the shows. Perfect for chasing the models around the metro.
Grab this pair from for a mere £20 at New Look

Model Stalker

Jacob Coup spotted on the Metro mere moments after the Petar Petrov show. Probably heading to his next show. He is a busy boy!

Petar Petrov Spring Summer 2011

The Petar Petrov show today had the summery feel that we had been waiting for with sorbet colours a great contrast to the other shows we have seen so far which have been heavily reliant on black and grey. Cropped shirts and jersey suits in shades of vanilla, raspberry and navy were teamed with light denim and leather moccasins. We also loved the smiling models and jaunty music.

Bernhard Willhelm Presentation SS 2011

The models started off in one part of the garden blowing a foam party around the lawn. This model seems angry that we were watching him and eyeballed us.
The foam party takes shape. Pandemonium ensues.
The models were called by a siren & moved onto the next part of the garden where explosions of coloured smoke were being let off at regular intervals...The neighbours complained & the second show was cancelled so we feel quite privileged that we got to spectate. The most exciting show we've seen so far combining Bernhard's trademark neon lycra and ruched sportswear with playful cut-outs. Bernhard joined in the fun too (see bottom right)
The models congregated in the middle & we applauded. The End

Bernhard (in white vest) applying the last finishing touches

2 of the models waiting to be dressed for the Bernhard Willhelm show

Hot. Steamy. Seductive.

China in your Hand

Last night the great & good of the fashion industry arrived for the unveiling of Lacoste's latest collaboration - a polo shirt made out of ming china! We love the flared sleeves and choker detail, but we feel like our mother's when we say this. 'How would you wash it?'

Walter Van Bierendonck finale ss2011

So here we are...

John Galliano Finale - not so epilepsy friendly...

Waiting... Anticipating!

ROMAIN KREMER

TECHNO. TECHNO. TECHNO. TECHNO!
Back on form. Neon flashes with cyber styling. Strapping and tailoring. With a strobe. New sunglasses with Mykita. Hot boys. see pictured our favourite.

WALTER VAN BIERENDONCK

Just heading into the show.

Love the beaded 'HOPE' necklaces, perforated jumpsuits, and aligator shaped rucksacks - imagine slinging a crocodile over your shoulder and youre nearly there... The nude leather harnesses adorned with chandelier crystals and pearls were pretty special - see above! Lots of hot bears modeling again, mixed in with regular models.

Thursday 24 June 2010

FYI BTW OMG

We love our new Casio Exilim Z2000. It's lilac (gay) & look how much fun we've had with it already.

Seen at Dries Van Noten

Here en masse in a concrete bunker on the banks of the Seine...paint splattered shirts, camel coats, oversized shirts and slicked back hair. The trend for acid washed denim shows no sign of slowing down either. Free Coca Cola!

YOU DONT GET THIS IN CHARIOTS!

At the Gaultier show Spring Summer 2011. A backdrop of massaging muscle, in a 3D projection cove would you believe.

KELLY R AT JPG IN 3D!!!!

Looking foxy on Gaultier's front row. Even managing to carry off the 3D specs. Do as Kelly does, wear them with a smile!

LOUIS VUITTON SPRING SUMMER 2011. HOT!

Louis Vuitton's Spring Summer show wowed us this morning in Paris. Models strutted down the runway wearing beige's, creams and greys with shots of cobalt blue and green punctuating each look. We loved the new chinese inspired tattoo design on scarves and shirts with the models also adorned in the monogram reworked by New York tattoo artist Scott Campbell.
Gladiator-esque sandals are also still prominent as were massive totes adorned in the shades of the season. Loved it. Fresh!

What The Hell??? Its Pharrell!

Spotted! At louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2011 show in Paris this afternoon. Proudly sat on the front row, he loved it. We just managed to take a snap between smiles.

Bonjour Paris!

Just arrived in Paris - the view from our apartment, ready for the SS2011 Menswear shows. Keep checking in here, and we'll keep you posted of everything we get up to - well... most things ;0)
