As part of J.W Anderson's casting process for his SS12, each model was shot wearing a white Sunspel t-shirt (who incidentally was appointed creative director of the label last year)

On our appointments today (getting all the stuff for our exciting cover shoot this Monday) we were very well looked after by our fave PR Ryan @ Exposure, or as he likes to call himself Rydogg (???!). He poured us a well earned sparkling water and Robinsons. He was trying to help us cool down but he only made us hotter.

The J.W Anderson Show Was Busy

Not all the shows during fashion week happen in a nice airy tent, oh no some like to make you work for your fashions. & since LFW is held at Somerset House sometimes we found ourselves and hundreds of other fashion fiends crammed into a space the size of a postage stamp. At the J.W Anderson show we laughed as the photographers tried to get Jess Punter from GQ to move out of shot & we predicted she would be in every pic. The lovely lady in the white jacket is her.

We used to find these 'Ryan Gosling wears Salvatore Farragamo' emails a tad annoying. However since seeing him in Drive at the cineplex this weekend we are now head over heels. This picture helped too.

'Friends of Fred' launched earlier this year, inviting like-minded brands to join them in their Laurel stores, opening customers eyes to the other legions of mod influenced brands out there. New Power Studio

Tom Murphy's New Power Studio at Menswear day, involved an instalation piece, that shuddered down our spine with a double coffin centre piece and haunting little girls. Heres their super fit model in the first three looks though, and we aint scared anymore. Quite the opposite.

The James Small show at Vauxhall Motors Fashion's Scout garnered quite the front row marvelling at his latest collection.
La Moss was present as usual as was Jamie Winstone, Meg Matthews & Aaron Frew
(who we had a lovely chat with earlier in the day & we could see his nipples through his top)

The show was followed by an intimate party at the Corinthia hotel.

Last Nights Launches: Marcel Wanders for M&S

Though strictly speaking more of a homewares event, there were a few mens accessories on display which meant we were drafted in, no questions asked. Up to the 28th floor of the
Millbank tower.

We particularly liked these Henry VIII cufflinks which you can mix & match with his wives.

NYFW: Diesel Black Gold

We do like it when a collection surprises you & on this occasion we certainly were.
When it comes to Diesel Black Gold, you'd be forgiven for expecting to see models strutting down the catwalk looking like a cross between Mad Max & Robinson Crusoe; all battered leathers and distressed denims.
In it's place was a sportier aesthetic. Technical fabrics in navy and white looked slick & modern. Our pick has to be the neoprene jacket as worn by Sebastian Sauve. A hit!
