How much fun can you have on safari? Sh*tloads! We had an awesome time at Buffelsdrift Safari Ranch, we'd never steamed clothes in a tent before next to a lake with REAL HIPPOS!!!

Denim Cleans Up!

Launched today, Levis whirlpool sculpture (above in the London flagship store) highlights the brands plight to save water, with a pioneering new way to produce denim.
The average pair of jeans uses 42 litres of water in the finishing proccess
& some of the new styles save up to 96% of that. Which is good news for the environment.
Also we went to the launch of the event where you could get your photo taken with a hunk in a bath. We daren't put our up as we were looking rough so we nabbed this pic of a lovely lady posing merrily. She looks like the cat that got the cream that one.

New Store

Ck Calvin Klein has opened it's first U.K store in Manchester's Spinningfields, hob-nobbing next to the newly opened Emporio Armani store. To illustrate this we have chosen an archive campaign picture of Garrett Neff. Lovely!

Is It Too Early To Start Talking About Autumn?

Most probably. Any sane person right now would be planning their summer wardrobe.

But we are not sane and are therefore thinking about tweeds, puffa jackets & snoods, most notably from H&M,

modelled beautifully by Clement Chabernaud.

Cheryl doesn't have The X Factor

It seems Cheryl Cole doesn't have The X Factor anymore. She has reportedly been sacked from the US version of the show because American's will struggle to understand her accent. "You are right up my street" clearly doesn't translate very well. We would be more mortified if it wasn't for the saving grace that Nicole Sherzinger is set to replace her. (Breathe a sigh of relief now).

Topman Stylist Lounge Re-opens

Last night we attended a pre-Apprentice launch of the new swanky Topman Stylist lounge in Topshop's flagship store in Oxford Street. Between quaffing champagne & nibbling on tiny little lamb pies we chatted to the new team headed by the very dapper Giles Farnham. The new lounge features multiple changing rooms, a free bar (!) & mood boards which the newly appointed personal shoppers can create for you ready for your arrival. Very swish indeed.

Exhibition! Walter Van Bierendonck

From 29th May, the Middelheim museum in Antwerp will be a blank canvas for contemporary artist Erwin Wurm, who has collaborated with the awesome Walter Van Bierendonck, will be placing 25 works of art around the museum. The poster looks like fun.

The Life Ball 2011

This weekend saw the return of the annual Life Ball in Vienna. An amazing show bringing together many of the worlds most public faces in the fight against AIDS.

After speeches from the great & the good (Vivienne Westwood/Janet Jackson) DSquared2 put on a catwalk show which was witnessed by 50,000 people.

Forever 21 to open in Liverpool

Liverpool readers, get excited! Forever21 is coming to town! The US chain’s second UK store is now set to open slap bang in the middle of Liverpool (you might just have to wait 6 months for the privilege). And people say that all the good stuff happens in London first. We particularly love this striped tank, a BARGAIN at only £8.75. The model's not too bad either.
