Lovely Shorts!

Green shorts from H&M at £19.99 on lovely James here from M+P.
We have just spotted these in the Covent Garden window.
They could do with a roll up really.

Campaign Watch: Frankie Morello AW12

Ryan Bertroche & Sebastian Sauve give good pants.

Pride Tee

Behold! American Apparel's gay pride tee which is on sale now in time for London pride this weekend. Also if you spend £50 or more in the Soho, Shoreditch or Oxford Street stores you get a free one. Nice huh? & dead trendy.

Campaign Watch: Givenchy AW12

Rob Evans here looking v.moody. Maybe it was very hot that day. Then again they probably shot this AW campaign last Winter. It all gets very confusing. Here he is in a pair of pants.
Excellent.

Campaign Watch: Adidas SLVR

This season the collection has a space age feel. Photography: Willy Vanderperre, Model Alexander Beck.

there's a video too.

Looking Good

The second collection of Idol, New Look's range for indie Sindys, is launching at the beginning of July. The range as, as the last one, is heavily influenced by rock n roll & features louche logo tees, skinny denims and union jack scarves. Modelling for it is Oscar from Elite London. Lovely Oscar.

We Told Isaac Carew To Pose Sexily

& he did this. Sexy!

Jeremy Young in Palladium Boots

Where others chose good old Hunters for their Glastonbury attire, the scandalously good looking Jeremy Young chose a sturdy pair of Palladium boots for watching Beyonce et al. www.asos.com

Backstage at Galliano

The models having their make up removed. The party was in the adjacent room, we chatted to Harry Goodwins from Models 1 while drinking Moet.
We're assuming the Bolly had run out by that point.

Front Row At Kris Van Assche

It's Usher! Woman to the right of him doesn't look best impressed.
Perhaps she's not familiar with In This Club

John Colver in Christopher Shannon Strides

He was part of our Paris Fashion Week gang.

PFW SS2012: Dries Van Noten

Our favourite part of the Dries Van Noten show is when the models storm out at once,
like a really well dressed angry mob. Liking the navy & coral combination.
Also we were given Tyrrells crisps to snack on, Chris promptly put 4 packets in his bag
& snacked on them for the rest of the weekend.

@TomGormer: This Is A Real Magazine Cover

We have a grim fascination with this cover,
though we think maybe her choice of dress would be a bit jazzier?

Big Trunks

Spotted at the Louis Vuitton show, the V symbol in the centre was used throughout the collection. A definite contender for modern classic.

Very Valentino

Though the shows were pretty much back to back we managed to cram in a quick viewing at the Valentino presentation. These were our favourite two pieces.

More Nudity!

We all left the Bernhard Willhelm show slightly speechless & also a bit hysterical.
As the models walked around the makeshift catwalk inside the Mercedes Benz gallery, a female body builder, greased up & wearing next to nothing talked into a vocoder & paraded around the room. It was without doubt the most surreal experience of the whole week.

Francois Sagat At Bernhard Willhelm

10 seconds later the robe was on the floor. He wears less clothes to the supermarket though so don't feel sorry for him.

The Hottest Shows Of The Year

We're talking literally here. In ascending order.
3. Louis Vuitton - In a greenhouse with the sun shining in, it was always going to get a bit toasty.
2. Bernard Willhelm - In the Mercedes gallery on The Champs Elysees. Sweaty.
1. Paul Smith - As last year, in an old church/monastry, thick walls turned the dark venue into a sauna. People fanning themselves briskly was as loud as the music pumping out the sound system. (they did hand out coconut ice cream though which was much appreciated)
May we suggest next summer the shows are all held in a giant igloo.

Lovely Trunks.

Those Tribe boys again, here with a royal blue trunk.
Gavin @ AMCK

Lovely Things (Acne)

Acne is probably in our top 5 brands. Each season they do amazing pieces that if possible we would like to move into. This vest is sexy and louche in a great muddy pastel colour.

Walter van Bierendonck Finale SS12

Love It... a big ball of tulle fun!

KRISVANASSCHE SS12

Sunglasses a plenty, a loose trouser, greys, navy, sleeveless tailoring, and a longlength sleeve polo shirt. And Usher.

Alexis Mabille Show: There Was Underwear

The Alexis Mabille show was a generous mix of nautical flavours & heavy dose of underwear
(in collaboration with Hom) We particularly liked the names for the various designs; Beaubow, Bogoss, Bombe, Bombe, Canon, Lover & Tombeur. We also liked when Adrian Clarke (fash ed at Shortlist) came over complaining that he didn't know where to sit so the PR just ripped someones name tag off the seat & sat him there.

Rob Evans at Jean Paul Gaultier

Additional bonus to the frankly outstanding Jean Paul Gaultier presentation, which blew Elauans mind, where the visible backstage and hanging rails of collection, progressed to a salon style presentation, without music, but spoken through descriptions of the collection... the bonus was... Rob Evans visibly trying on the collection. And here we have him.

Died And Gone To Heaven At Dries

The moment we always wait for at Paris Fashion Week. The finale of the Dries Van Noten show, as all the boys come out en masse at once together. We want the whole collection. Techno tailoring, silky striped shirting and nylons, retaining their masculinity and cool. Breathtaking. We LOVE it!

Accesssories Amaze Overload! at LVMH

Wait for SS12 when Chris will be (if he gets his way) swishing around town in a red and blue check full look, including the scarf...

Aussiebums New Sporty Direction!

Perfect for a kick around on the beach, which is obvs what we do, not lying down on a sunlounger doused in oil. No not us. Wait for all the shorts action from Paris!!!

For Glasto Or Simply Staying At Home

We don't usually focus our attentions to cosmetics but this lovely little gift set from Kiehls & Lucy in Disguise is really special. Anyone who would take it to Glastonbury though must be some sort of sadist. Damn those rich types with winnebagos!
(which we heard cost a grand a night. jeez louise)

Woolrich Presentation

A sneaky look at the presentation for Woolrich Woolen Mills in Milan. Inspired by Ernest Hemingway's travels. expect great cover ups & khaki holdalls galore!

Longer Mugler Video in Technicolour!

Without wanting to spoil it for you too much,
the black & white moodiness wears of in a cascade of colour.

Milan SS 2012: Dsquared2

Skip to 4:39 for the amazeballs dancing.

Kazaky. Amazing. We Love Them!!!

Alexis Mabille For Hom

This is little bit far in future for underwear it may be but it gets us a little giddy when there's a collaboration involved. Favourites of ours Hom, our go to brand for the perfect pair of briefs have teamed up with french fashion designer Alexis Mabille on a capsule collection for SS12.
As we'll be at the show (& after party) tomorrow we'll try to get some close ups.

Britney Hates The Paps (Go Figure)

We love it when you can see a bit of life behind Britney's eyes.
As this is a style blog (yes really!) we shall take a fashion stance on the whole shebang.
The whole Mad Men/Louis Vuitton/Womanly trend passed Britney by didn't it?
Seeing as she appears to channeling Avril Lavigne circa 2005.
We like her face best when the driver pours milk over himself.

Lovely Things (J.W Anderson)

With harnesses hanging off it, this tee from J.W Anderson looks like a lovely mix of bondage & Laura Ashley. Available at Oki-Ni.com £215

This Was Made For Attitude Surely?

We'll brush over the title 'Brothers Of Arcadia' title, which sounds like a club for Phillip Green & his chairmen. This sexy little teaser gives an idea of what to expect from the Thierry Mugler show this Wednesday. If this is the toned down one then we can't wait for the version that's going to be posted on X-Tube post show. Give the gays what they want. Thanks Nicola!

There's A Frow You Don't See Everyday.

What do you get if you add Nate from Gossip Girl, Sylar from Heroes, Jason from True Blood & Blaine from Glee? Besides the sexiest t.v show in the world, you get the Versace front row.
Throw in two American basketball players (from teams that escape us) & you've got yourself the weirdest front row since Serena Williams at Burberry.

Another Amazing Collab For H&M

We thought H&M had peaked with their Lanvin collaboration last year but the announcement that they are due to mix minds with Donatella Versace for a November release is equally exciting. We're hoping this involves raiding the archives as Gaga's been doing a lot recently.

Even More D&G Backstage

We love the summer shows, and D&G had all the treats. We dont want to overload you with D&G ss12, but we thought you might appreciate these images!
Photography swide.com

Hybrid Trouser Alert!

At the D&G SS12 show earlier today, where our good friend at Swide.com nipped backstage and took some snaps for us, a new breed of trouser was unleashed. And now its all we can think of to wear! A denim waistband with its robust masculinity makes way for a loose silk trouser seemingly made from silk scarves. Amazing.

Hot Boys Dressing Backstage!

At the (rather awesome) D&G show earlier today no less. Right in the thick of it.
We have to thank our friends swide.com who were kind of nifty with the camera

Milan SS 2012: Diesel Black Gold

Diesel Black Gold smartens up. With th essence of distressed denim & weather worn accessories still prominent, this season the collection mixes in navy to the characteristic creams & beiges.

D&G Finale

Hotness in Baroque shorts. D&G know their customer.

Milan SS 2012: Bottega Veneta

Creases, over-printing, tweeds, checks, dip-dyeing, bright suits!

Milan SS 2012: Calvin Klein

Sporty, monochrome, loose trousers, tight top.

Apparently Frank used to go to Heaven dressed like that in '98. Trailblazer.

Milan SS 2012: Jil Sander

Chris was salivating at this collection. mid-thigh shorts & cute little jewel coloured jumpers? Yes please! Ipad holder around neck? A strain.
