Its Pissing it Down

We've been prepping a shoot in the west end all day. Oxford Street is awash with sodden broken Primark bags. So Depressing. And we're supposed to be in the mood for shooting spring summer... We wish we looked this good wet through..

Selfridges Competition!

We've teamed up with our lovely friends at Selfridges, who are throwing a Denim Week in anticipation for London Fashion Week on the 18th Feburary.
We are offering one lucky blog watcher the chance to come to Oxford Street on the 17th Feb to meet the Attitude fashion team, where we will be blogging live from the store, taking pictures of boys in the chaging rooms & what not.

French Connection SS

We really like the new French Connection campaign for SS. We love kittens. We also like that they've gone for hairy men again this season. (but some are like really hairy)
We also think he looks a bit like Will Young.

Ted Baker Boots

This morning we were taken to the head office of Ted Baker shoes & were guided through the SS collections. The top picture is the best of the Spring selection;
Gorgeous brogues with hints of pastels & desert boots in various shades.
We also loved the boots from the AW collection which we were given a sneaky look at.
Loved the hard wearing boots & red laces (which were sourced especially from Japan!)
We also saw some Chelsea boots which we have been looking for a nice pair for months!

Tatts Out

We did a mini casting today & Conrad Leadley from Next came in. We had seen pictures of his tattoos but weren't sure whether they were real or not. We stripped him off to see.

At first we thought it was a porn prelude, but no,. this is a regular photo op for the six nations captains. 2011 chunky hunks at the bottom. Worth a watch till the highboard diving and rythmic gymnastics starts again.

Elite London's Mario Loncarski (centre) dropped into our office at the end of our last summer and we all fell in love. He reminds us here in the SS11 Just Cavalli campaign just why.

Sacha's Burberry Treat!

We took Sacha up to Blackpool beach two years ago, in the rain and wind. Burberry obviously caught drift of our vision, and have taken Sacha to their own pebbly beach, although they seem to have forgotten the donkeys, the pier and the tower!!

With February here, spring should surely follow. Anyone whose seen our latest issue knows we after currently lusting after fisherman's jacket & this Holbrook hooded jacket one from Penfield ticks all our boxes. it's waxed, it's lightweight & it's in a very nifty rust colour. We approve.

Breakfast at The Savoy With Geri

The reasons for our attendance at Geri Halliwell & Next's swimwear launch was tenuous at best; We love Geri Halliwell & were fascinated to see what The Savoy looked like post it's £100million make over. In our eagerness we bagged ourselves top-notch seats, sitting amongst the creme de la creme of womenswear press, or at least the ones who wanted a free breakfast.
(which FYI was mini eggs benedict, bacon rolls & trays of pastries)

After a brief introduction from an enthusiastic compere the models paraded about in various states of undress, the words 'you'll look a million dollars' ringing in our heads.
We couldn't quite negotiate how a £30 boob tube would manage that but we were willing to suspend belief for this enjoyable hour.

At the end Geri (dressed in winter appropriate playsuit & espadrilles) gave a quick speech on how she wanted to dress real women or words to that effect (We were trying to catch the attention of the waiters by this point) The ensuing scrum to get a picture with Miss Halliwell was brilliant. Why a whole room of intelligent women & gays turn into screaming fans at the sight of an ex Spice Girl we will never quite understand. Clearly Next do.

Boys in Burberry at the SAGS

Ah awards season you do brighten up a January morning! first there were the Golden Globes, we still have the Baftas & Oscars to look forward to & last night was the Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A. Douglas Booth & Andrew Garfield looked particularly dashing in Burberry. There were reports that Tom Hardy was there too. We will persevere in finding evidence.
Also props to Santana for snaring Douglas Booth. You go girl.
